Dimash Qudaibergen, also known as Kudaibergen, is a Kazakh multi-instrumentalist, song writer.
Dimash is nicknamed “The Six-Octave Man” due to his unique voice with a six-octave range. He rose to fame in China with his participation as a “wildcard competitor” in Hunan TV’s Singer 2017.
Dimash is university trained in classical as well as contemporary music and has performed songs in 13 languages.
He was offered a position at the Astana Opera but chose to carve out his career in contemporary music, mixing classical elements and traditional Kazakh music with pop. Dimash is popular in Kazakhstan and other post-Soviet countries in 2015 upon becoming the Grand Prix winner of the Slavinski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Belarus.
