Let’s see, who are really illegal immigrants in the USA?
Who are the people we count as illegal aliens?
Who counts as legal residents of the USA?
How far back should we look, to the
Shall we count the Spanish/Mexican people who lived here in 1763, prior to all our wars with them? Shall we include those people in the land before we arrived in all the conquests and purchases? When you think of it this way, who are really the aliens?
There has got to be a better way for people of conscience, to resolve our current immigration dilemmas, that do not include separating families at the border, putting children in cages, or a gun to someone’s back or face, and deportation to this
The scarcity mentality has infiltrated the minds and greedy hearts of 42-43 percent of those among us. We need to broaden our horizons and find creative solutions that do not include the destruction of human integrity, placing all non-American/non-white people in the same category as drug lords.We need to address crime issues, but often it is the illegal immigrant who is the victim of the crime, not the perpetrator.

Yes, and when they came, they came without papers, rules and regulations. They walked through Ellis Island. Only one percent of people who walked through Ellis Island were turned back, and they wee all Chinese. People stupidly said back then that Chinese people could not assimilate in this country because of the way they looked. Then all of a sudden we started building the railroads, and they were let in because we needed them. Immigrants did not get nothing free. There was the gold rush. Many immigrants got thousands of acres of land for free. It is a very judgmental and incorrect assumption for people to make assuming all immigrants of yesteryear worked hard, while all immigrants are takers and moochers. What I see are immigrants today working two and three jobs, in jobs we elitist, white Americans would not lower ourselves in many cases to have. These may be low paying jobs, but I do not see white Americans, even teenage white Americans, lining up for these jobs. This is a pure and simple case of prejudice, and the poverty mentality, the scarcity mentality at work. It is not the reality. I believe and promote the fact that all human beings on the face of this great planet are equal in every way. It is only prejudices and ignorance that keep people and ideologies apart. Much Love, Lin
