The title of my talk will be Healing Political, Religious and Social Indoctrination.
This is a powerful moment in history and in the world today. This is what my last four books tap into because it is so prevalent across the globe at this pivotal moment in time. There is a lot you can do to help heal your spot in this one big, beautiful world we all live on.
No one wants to believe that they are indoctrinated. We have been educated and raised in the political, religious, and social mindsets of our upbringing. Some of us have stayed true to our indoctrinations, excuse me, I mean, education. After all, we have paid a dear price with the sacrifices involved in obtaining the necessary money, family relationships, personal sweat and tears, not to mention saving our Soul in the process, according to some religions, to get where we are today. How dare I say “indoctrinations.”
Some say that to teach is to indoctrinate. I wish to clarify that statement, showing the difference between freedom of thought and education, and its polar opposite which is censorship, control freak agendas and Spirit and Soul sapping mind control. You have your own personal belief, especially in the realm of self-esteem, character development, and personal power, which is your integrity and knowing exactly who and what you are even in the face of conflict. This is what I will be discussing in my talk

This is my biography:
Linda Hourihan, HHCP is an international holistic health counselor/practitioner and former owner of The Massage Clinic with four offices in Connecticut with over 8,000 appointments helping humanity transform what no longer serves their highest good into healthier versions of themselves.
Linda is an international interfaith minister since 2004 and has earned her Master’s in Chaplaincy, and Doctorate in Spiritual Awareness and Universal Order.
She is a former feature writer for The Milford Daily News, founding feature-writer for the Laconia Daily Sun, and contributing author of More Weddings, Funerals, and Rites of Passage.
Linda is the winner of the 2024 International Impact Book Awards for her trilogy:
- IN THEIR IMAGE AND LIKENESS, subtitled UNIVERSAL WISDOM
- MY RED BAG OF COURAGE, subtitled SURVIVAL WISDOM
- NATURE SPIRIT WISDOM, subtitled LIGHT WITHIN THE ANGEL, MINERAL, PLANT, AND ANIMAL KINGDOMS.
She is a finalist in the 2025 International Impact Author of the Year competition for her book, TRANSITIONING INTO THE AGE OF AQUARIUS, subtitled AN ENLIGHTENING JOURNEY. Instead of choosing to walk across the red carpet in Hollywood, Linda instead is choosing to celebrate her hard work in the neighborhood restaurant on Lake Nipmuc, across the street from her childhood home, with her friends and family, all of which bring life to MY RED BAG OF COURAGE on the same day and time of the award ceremony on October 4, 2025 in California.
Her last four books mentioned above address how to get out of political, religious, and social cults, all of which often attempt to use various forces to restrict or prohibit the advancement of women in their paradigms.
She has also been published in: The Connecticut Post, The Door Opener Magazine, Wisdom Magazine, and Spirit of Change Magazine.
