Meditating on the love God, the heavenly Father of Jesus of Nazareth has for us, lights the spark of love for the entire human race and all of creation, because God loved us first says 1 John 4:19. It is by his example of love that we know how to love in return. Yet due to the fallen angels of Genesis 6:1 and the third of the warring angels of heaven from Revelation 12:7-9, we see from the beginning to the end of the Bible that loving as Jesus tells us to do can appear to be more than challenging.

If we simply love through the heart as we are instructed to do, we will treat all humanity with dignity and respect, for the love of God.

If we apply Matthew 7:1 and “Stop judging,” we will love our brothers and sisters everywhere on earth, for the love of God.

If we call on God the Father of Jesus to help us love when circumstances seem impossible to do so, we can think, speak and act more fully in love, for the love of God.

If we come to realize that we abide in God and He in us, because he has given us of his own Spirit, his Holy Spirit as 1 John 4:13 says, than we can move through life, for the love of God.

If we understand that our lives matter on this earth, with every person we meet, in all our work and play, then we come to know that every decision we make no matter how seemingly small or insignificant adds up to a worthwhile life lived, for the love of God.

No matter what our role is in this life, who we work for, or what we do in our free time, we can do it all, for the love of God.
