“Do You Know That You Are The Temple of God, And That The Spirit of God Dwells In You?” ~ 1 Corinthians 3:16

* I extend a warm invitation to the worldwide meditation and prayer effort currently underway through July and August 2019. This is an international, concerted effort specifically addressing the inhumane conditions at the southern border of the United States of America and Mexico. I am inviting all churches in all denominations in the world to invite all their parishioners to take part; and include all people without any church affiliation to participate. Scroll down to see how meditation and prayer reduced crime in Washington, D.C. by 48 percent.

“Do you know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”  View image on Twitter1 Corinthians 3:16.

We were made in the image and likeness of God BEFORE we chose any belief or non-belief system.

“Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness …” Genesis 1:26.

John 4:24 says, “God is Spirit; and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

We are living, breathing human beings with the Living Spirit of God inside of us. We made so many mistakes as human beings, that God sent his one and only Son, Jesus as our Christ and Messiah, to show us how to live better, forgive one another, raise the tone of how to treat one another in his teaching of the Golden Rule in Luke 6:31, “Just as you want men to do to you, do to them likewise,” Jesus said.

All people regardless of nationality, race, color, creed, gender, or any other difference human beings can highlight, are first made as temples of God, the Father of Jesus,’ and that His Spirit dwells in each and every human being, even those who we have mistreated and put in cages.

  1. This, in my opinion, is the difference between the spiritual perspective and the physical perspective. Yes, it is true that every child has the spirit of God in them. However, it is true that their parents make law-breaking decisions for these innocent children. #RestHard

    1. Thank you for your comment. First of all, there is absolutely nothing illegal about asking for asylum. What is happening at the border now is that people are coming to the border seeking asylum and handing themselves over to the border patrol while asking for asylum. The USA response is to put asylum seekers in cages, separate them from their children and put them in cages too. Border patrol is not even arresting them, they are simply putting them in cages. More attorneys have been requested by this administration to care for each case, but the request seems to have fallen on deaf ears.

The law-breaking you refer to are misdemeanors, like jay walking or speeding. Yes that is against the law, just like crossing the border is a misdemeanor. Should you and I be locked up, be separated from our children, be locked up in cages, or have our children put in cages because we were driving our car over the posted speed limit, or because we walked across the street not at a designated cross walk? We need to be honest with ourselves, our consciences, and what code of conduct we want to live by.

It is important to be honest here. Drug lords, rapists and criminals are not the ones walking over the border. Drug lords, rapists and criminals are coming in through legal ports of entry, in cars, trucks and planes. Drug lords, rapists and criminals are the ones who should be tried and convicted and sent back to their own countries like President Obama did, or be put in the cages that we put those seeking asylum these days. The ones walking over the border of the Unites States are the ones who are escaping the drug lords, rapists and criminals in the countries, not just Mexico. It is because President Obama sent back the drug lords back to their countries that the families who live there are in crisis, having their children being forced to serve drug lords and gangs, or die because they refuse. You and I would not want to raise our children in those situations either. These people have already been abused, walked a long way, and the current USA answer is to put them in cages, and in some cases rape them. What the USA is doing now are crimes against humanity.

There are a lot of other illegal, white immigrants who are coming in, but no one is putting them in cages. The USA must face the systemic and raging racism we have in this country. It is not enough for people to say, “I am not a racist.” Anyone who supports hate crimes against black and brown people, as well as ethnic people who do not look Caucasian from the other 196 countries in the world, supports the racist agenda. We need to become more aware of this and offer more life-giving solutions that support the God-given lives we are given.

What would Jesus do? That should be the response we give to one another. Jesus gave us the Golden Rule, to treat others the way we want to be treated, to turn the other cheek to those offending us, and to forgive others.

Today we see the false prophets and faux Christians following “another Jesus” that we have been warned about in the Bible. They claim to be Christian while supporting hateful solutions. We need to pray more for discernment on how to best handle the problem of immigration which we have made so much worse by heartless actions that Jesus never told us to take. It is fear that promotes hate-mongering. We need to be careful and wake up to what is really going on.

Promote true Christianity and avoid false Christianity. I stand by the words of Jesus who did not say to hate our neighbors. We are to love them. You are right to point out the difference between the spiritual perspective and the physical perspective. When we try to understand difficult motives and decisions void of the spiritual perspective, we get what we see taking place at the southern border of the USA. This is not love. This is not Christian, which the people who are making these decisions claim to be. A true Christian would never stand for this, but would find peaceful, loving solutions to the crimes against humanity that are now taking place under the guise of law and order. This is how Satan manipulates the minds of the weak and those not steeped in the words of Jesus.

Please help me to encourage everyone to pray more to our Father in heaven, to ask for guidance from the Holy Spirit, through the power of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, for the humane solutions that are possible, if we would only consider them. God Bless

Asylum seekers are not criminals. There but for the grace of God go I.
