Your Spirit is the Living Spiritual DNA Spark of Eternal Universal Life Force Energy WITHIN you. You are alive by the Limitless Living Light of your Spirit, without which you would not be alive. It has nothing to do with your belief system. Atheists and agnostics are in the same boat as believers of any belief system.
This applies to every person in the sea of humanity. It is not one person to lord it over another person, not one brand of religion, politics, or social groups over any other, and not any other unique quality of human beings over the rest of humankind.
The poverty that Jesus speaks of in the Gospel of Thomas is the myopic view some of humanity has, erroneously thinking that their brand of politics, religion, and/or social structure is better than anyone else on the planet.
This is the cult mentality in action. It is contagious. It is egotistical. It is self-absorbed. It is exclusive. It is the opposite of what Jesus came to teach and is the very reason he was crucified. Jesus spoke against all these control systems.
Furthermore, this well of cult-like poverty thinking can seem bottomless and full of fear of the future for their Spark of Life, which truly is a Spark of Limitless Living Light of the Source of All Energy. Jesus knew exactly what he was saying to his apostles.
Jesus also said this in today’s gospel in Luke 17:20-21.
If you know this within yourself beyond a shadow of a doubt, then you will wake up to the reality that the Light of your Eternal Spirit and Soul is animated by an endless battery pack of the Light of wisdom and Love.
These are the answers to everything in life.
When you know this beyond a shadow of a doubt, you will begin to manifest the eternal flow of unending Love and Light of inspiration, healing, and joy. It is life changing.
Knowing this reality erases stress, panic, anxiety, and all other emotions and thoughts that are of a lower vibration, because nothing can stand when Love and Light fill the void sunken in fear and despair.
