Imagine that Jude is you, and that the words “Take a sad song and make it better,” reflects your life, which may or may not be a straight line toward happiness, peace and joy. These words have a different message for me today than it did when it first hit number one on the billboard charts. I would have followed their advice more closely.
Listen carefully to all the words, “Don’t be afraid.”
“You were made to go out and get her;” in this case, her being permission to go out and step out in confidence and self-esteem, and stop diminishing yourself like a shrinking violet before the stronger personalities in your world. Just because stronger personalities may be louder, more assertive, or even threatening, does not necessarily make them right. Egotistical, boisterous, and manipulating voices may still be ignorant.
“The minute you let her under your skin, then you begin to make it better,” means awakening to your essence, and the abundance of all good things. The acceptance and genuine love for yourself as a person, is your conscious awareness blossoming of who and what you are, and are meant to be. If you are here on planet Earth, you have a right to be here. The kind, loving and Eternal Power of your God-Initiated I AM Presence develops and matures stronger the more you “let her under your skin.”
“And any time you feel the pain, Hey Jude, refrain, don’t carry the world upon your shoulders.” Re-Member, as in re-connect to the Source of all Life, of which you are but a Spark, which is the Divine Spark preciously held within all of Life. It is the Life of your Soul that will Re-Member Itself after countless lifetimes, finally achieving perfection through the experiences of Life. This is the point. You do not have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders because the Source of all Creation desired to experience in, through, and with you. You’ve got this!
“For well you know it’s a fool who plays it cool, by making his world a little colder.” All is One. We take care of all our brothers and sisters in the human family on our One Earth, and the Earth itself, or we all die. That’s just a fact.
“Hey Jude, don’t let me down. You have found her, now go and get her,” her being that little inner voice who makes her presence known deep in your heart. Now that this conscience, this Silver Cord of the essence of life, your very own animation battery, is found within you, “go and get her,” reminds you to use this God-given Presence.
“Remember to let her into your heart, then you can start to make it better,” by you being the boss of you, rather than giving your personal power over to someone or something else.
“So let it out and let it in, Hey Jude, begin, no waiting for someone to perform with.” Why do you do things? What is your motive behind the things that you do?
“And don’t you know that it’s just you, Hey Jude, you’ll do, the movement you need is on your shoulder.”
“Hey Jude, don’t make it bad. Take a sad song and make it better …”
Yes, we all know this. But sometimes life has a way of shutting us down, stilling our voice, and usurping our personal power. Now is the time to reclaim it and live fully in kindness and love, yet without stepping on others, and without allowing them to step on us. We all are born with free will regardless of where you were born. You are in charge of your life, no one else.
